you were barely in the world
when they began to argue
of whom you probably could have
these eyes that nose and mouth
you no sooner made the first steps
they demanded you to climb a ladder
but it neither was that ordinary
nor it was even made of wood
like "success" it's understood
so you grew up fairly fast
whilst on your daily way to school
most of your early days companions
proofed to be competitors quite soon
although the steps were growing larger
more save with every rung attained
you get a first glimpse of that hardship
that climbing ladders may entail
success ain't easy to envail!
all of a sudden you 're aware
that the way uphill right from the outset
neither defines a happy ending
but hardly value worth it all - ohhhh!
so you 're willed to take the plunge
the risk of that all saving step
you get the "yelp!" right from nearby
don't think of giving it a try
'cause jumping down from such a hight
one reached already at that point
despite all run-ups undertaken
exceptless noone did survive
"onward!" 's the school of thought for life
"worklife balance", "worklife blend", "quality time" oder "sabbatical".
